According to Mets.com the Mets have expressed interest in David Eckstein.
Eckstein is a 32 year old shortstop that previously played with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the St. Louis Cardinals. If the Mets were to sign Eckstein he would be asked to
switch from shortstop to second base. Eckstein has played second base 14 times in his career all in 2001 while on the Angels.

hey guys, my name is Jacob Nebumkin and you really need to spell check your blogs before you post them. And stop being so biased, we all know the mets suck.
ok...i like eckstein alot. hes a scrappy player that works hard every day and takes advantage of the fact that hes the smallest player in the game today. if he were to join the mets would he go to second? i mean...i dont think reyes is moving from short (even though i would like that).
